Marc Kuntzsch will succeed David Loy in his current role as Vice President Aftermarket EMEA and Executive Board member of Niterra’s EMEA Regional Headquarters, moving from his present position as Director Central Europe Aftermarket EMEA.
David Loy will be tasked with shaping the company’s long-term Aftermarket plans and designing a global strategy for digitalisation. He will build on extensive experience gained as a key architect of Niterra’s EMEA Aftermarket expansion. This has allowed the company to broaden its product lineup, to boost revenues and to meet the needs of its customers for cutting-edge components. A proven expert in sales and marketing, David Loy’s experience will be invaluable as he takes the helm in shaping the company’s mobility business and guides the expansion of its portfolio beyond combustion-engine parts.
David Loy, a French national, is a graduate of the prestigious ESSEC Business School in Cergy, France. He joined NGK SPARK PLUG in 2013 as Marketing Director for the EMEA region. Prior to this, he worked for Valeo, holding several senior management positions at its headquarters in France and in China.
In his new role, David Loy will have to develop result-driven processes as well as targeting increased global sales and profit. His invaluable expertise in digitalisation will be vital to his new role as global head of digital development as the company adapts to the impact of online and service activities on Aftermarket day-to-day business.
German national Marc Kuntzsch joined Niterra in 2016 as General Manager Aftermarket of German speaking DACH markets. After studying for a business degree at the Free University of Berlin, Marc Kuntzsch worked for an automotive rental company for two years before joining the Aftermarket division of a leading international automotive supplier, where he held roles as Area Manager, Key Account Manager and Sales Manager DACH. Most recently, he held the position of a Director with responsibility for Aftermarket Central Europe at Niterra.
Like David Loy, Marc Kuntzsch has been instrumental in the company’s successful Aftermarket restructuring process and this experience will now be vital as he rises to the challenges of overseeing all of EMEA’s three key international sales regions of Central Europe, Western Europe and Middle East Africa and Eurasia. Additionally, he will lead Marketing and the Aftermarket Business Development activities at the company as it seeks to align sales expertise across the three regions.
Damien Germès, President & CEO of Niterra EMEA GmbH, Regional President EMEA and Corporate Officer of the Global Headquarters in Japan comments on the two moves: “With the well-earned promotions of David Loy and Marc Kuntzsch, we have two experienced leaders who both have solid backgrounds in Aftermarket business, and importantly the crucial area of digitalisation. It is this know-how that will now be essential as they tackle the challenges of their new roles in helping to shape the company’s future global and EMEA Aftermarket business.”
“This is truly an exciting time to be part of this company as we initiate a wide-reaching overhaul of Aftermarket services and the design of a cutting-edge digital strategy. I relish the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead of me,” David Loy said.
“Niterra’s decision to broaden its product portfolio and incorporate new fields of business has led to huge Aftermarket possibilities at the company. It is therefore a truly exciting time for me to take on new responsibilities and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead as we continue to deliver market-leading products and a first-class customer-centric experience,” Marc Kuntzsch said in response to his new role.
