For nearly three decades, Niterra has provided the spark for the iconic red racing cars in no less than six drivers’ championships and eight constructors’ titles. As a top-class supplier, the company is well known for its commitment to motor racing. It is truly delighted to be continuing its close cooperation with Formula 1’s oldest and most successful team by providing bespoke ignition technologies and cutting-edge expertise.
On 13 February 2024, Ferrari unveiled the SF-24, the single-seater with which the team will take part in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship, which will be driven by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, both in their sixth and fourth seasons respectively with Scuderia Ferrari.
“We are naturally delighted to be renewing our longstanding partnership with Scuderia Ferrari, a name that epitomises everything that is so exciting about Formula 1 racing. During nearly 30 years of partnership with this iconic team we have been able to develop ground-breaking ignition technologies that have directly benefitted both our OE and Aftermarket products significantly. We look forward to continuing our cooperation with great excitement and anticipation”, comments Damien Germès, President & CEO of Niterra EMEA GmbH, Regional President EMEA and Corporate Officer of the Global Headquarters in Japan.
The 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship began on 29 February in Sakhir, Bahrain, and will conclude after 24 stages in Yas Marina, in Abu Dhabi, on 8 December. Niterra is delighted to be a part of this next truly exciting chapter for the Scuderia team and wishes it great success in the coming season.
