NGK SPARK PLUG EUROPE appoints New Business Development Director for aftermarket EMEA to meet growth potential

World-leading ignition and sensor specialist NGK SPARK PLUG EUROPE has created a new position of Business Development Director, Aftermarket EMEA and appoints globally experienced Aftermarket manager Lionel Vautrin to the newly created role, starting from 23 September 2019.

Reporting to Vice President Aftermarket EMEA David Loy, Vautrin will head its business development teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to continually build on relationships with existing customers and establish new ones.

This includes the management of key accounts and international trading group (ITG) relations. He will also lead the company’s commercial excellence activities and further enhance its sales processes.

French national and ESSEC Business School graduate Vautrin brings more than 20 years of top-level sales, marketing and management experience to the role, gained both in Europe and Asia. He began his career with VALEO where, after several senior Aftermarket positions, he established VALEO Service China. He then moved to HELLA, setting up its Chinese workshop concept and leading its Asia Pacific Aftermarket operation before returning to Europe as Business Development Director, then Head of Sales and Marketing at HELLA France.
